HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE

We are so very proud of you. I am so lucky to have such a great husband that works so hard so that I can stay home. And of course such a great dad to Gaige. We love you very much.

4th of JULY

For the 4th we were very busy. We went to a ward swim party and cookout. Then that night we went up to Shane's cousin Rachael's house for a cookout and to watch fireworks.

Gaige did not like the seesaw.

COOL OFF !!!

Gaige had his very first very own sonic drink. He was so proud of himself carrying his drink.

Wouldn't these be great for a Sonic ad.

Busy Busy

Okay so I know it has been awhile since I last updated, so there is alot. Around the end of May Gaige got sick with the stomach flu so he had his first Er trip. From this picture you would never know that he was dehydrated.

Anywhere he could lay down he would that includes underneth anything that he could get under.

He also got to help me make sugar cookies for the first time. That was a blast. Cookie dough was everywhere.

That same week some good friends came to visit. I use to watch their boys. We didn't get to see much of them. Because Gaige was sick.

The day before Gaige got sick I had Lasik. I love it no more glasses or contacts. Giage also had his first day in nursery. No, he is not old enough he is only 14 months old. But Shane and I got called to nursery in our new ward. We have 2 nurseries a Junior and Senior, we are in the junior nursery. Every Sunday there are about 18 to 20 kids in our side and by the end of the year there will be about 50 kids. Yes 50!!!! That is just in the junior side.

At the end of May Gaige went on his first road trip. We drove down to Texas for Amy's Graduation and for a surprise 30th Anniversary party for Kevin and Kari. So to drive to Texas is 17 hours there and 17 hours back just to stay for 3 days. But it was nice to see everyone. It was a very quick trip. We got there Friday morning after driving all night. Amy's graduation was Friday night and then the anniversay Party that Amy, Shane and I put together was Saturday morning. So we were very busy when we got there.

After the graduation we all enjoyed some ice cream at Dairy Queen which is kind of a tradition.

Saturday morning started out busy. We rented out the Movie theater, so we got a private showing of Indiana Jones. Shane and Amy put together a slide show of Kevin and Kari that we played as the credits at the end of the movies. Then it was to the party room for Hot Potatoes and cake.

We got to see Jessica and Ammon. She was such a big help with Gaige and helping me with the hot potatoes. Thanks a ton Jess, I don't know what I would have done without you. And CONGRAGULATIONS we are so excited that Ammon is going to be a big brother. Don't mind how bad I look I was cooking in 100 degree weather with a 90 percent humidity.

So when we go home from Texas, Shane's really good friend from highschool was in town. We were able to spend some time with him, it was great being able to see him. It was also our 3rd anniversary. So we went to Hoover Dam and did a tour this is something we had been wanting to do but just didn't take the time. So while John was here we all loaded up and went, leaving Gaige with a sitter all day.

June has been a whirlwind. Shane started class again. He has this last class to take before he can graduate with his associates in criminal justice. This class will be done this week, thank goodness. Then maybe we will have a little bit of time to do something this summer. And he has finally quite the Orleans, so now he is just working 1 job. YEAH!!!
